The person who claimed that female rap was dead, I really don’t know what that person was talking about. The scene is more than alive and it’s way healtier than some boring ass dude jumping on Snoop’s ‘I Wanna Rock’ like everyone else like a silly Didus Ineptus. Seriously, I don’t get what’s good about that track at all or why everyone have to kick on it.

Well, this video directed by Mr. Boomtown does not make justice to this super great remix of Candi Redd’s ‘Independent’, mostly cause of the censoring. However, other than that it’s pure love, I’ve really missed my snappy anthems like this:
