I honestly don’t know for how many years Afrikan Boy played that ‘Lagos Town’-card now, but it’s definitely prior 2007 and when M.I.A. released “Kala”. However, Afrikan Boy’s nice afro-grime still works for me, so I’m glad to see that the official and his debut video is now live:

‘Lagos Town’ will be re-released as a single out in March and is taken off Afrikan Boy’s upcoming debut album “1444 Musik” (release date pending).

This remix from Old Money’s Konrad dropped in my inbox over a year ago, but it’s still hella good.
