New Uffie ‘MC’s Can Kiss’ & “Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans”

Even thou the video for Uffie’s ‘Pop The Glock’, directed by Nathalie Canguilhem was stunning and featured Sky Fierra I never felt the urge to post it when it dropped early October. Why? It felt way too old. But now Uffie’s back with fresh material. Her debut album “Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans” is slated for a release on Valentines Day, the 14th of February next year and here’s the brand new single ‘MC’s Can Kiss’.

The single samples Ohio Players’ ‘Rollercoaster of Love’ and is so-so to my ears. Dunno what it is but at the moment I’m fed up with female rappers that sounds like L’Trimm and ‘Cars With The Boom’. The perfect example is Ke$ha, the first time I heard ‘Tik Tok’ I was 100% sure it was the new Lady Tigra, boy was I wrong.

But back to “Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans”, DJ Feadz, Mr. Oizo, SebastiAn and Mirwais served as producers on the album and what’s hella exiting is the news that Pharrell Williams will be featured on the first official single of the album. Uffie has also covered a version of Siouxsie & the Banshees’ old ‘Hong Kong Garden’.
