Lady GaGa – New Single, Album, Tour, Timbo & Trina Collab
It’s so sad that Lady GaGa and KanYe’s “Fame Kills”-spectacle, the first ever pop-electro-opera got killed due to the aftermaths of KanYe’s VMA meltdown but after rain comes… shine.
To promote the re-release of GaGa’s debut album “The Fame”, now released with the title “The Fame Monster” the 24th of November, GaGa reissued a new North American/Australian tour called “The Monster Ball”. The tour will kick off in Montreal, the 27th of November and who is the opening act for the this tour? None other than KiD CuDi. I think this tour can be equality good as the killed one actually, even thou I would have loved to see what KanYe and GaGa had cooked up together.
The lead-single for “The Fame Monster” is ‘Bad Romance’ and GaGa stayed true to her fash’on self and made the singles official premiere on fashion designer Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2010 show on October 6th at the Paris Fashion Week. ‘Bad Romance’ is produced by RedOne and will be released on Monday, (October 19th, on iTunes October 27th) and the video began shooting yesterday.
The “Monster”-part of “The fame Monster” will contain 8 completely new songs:
1. ‘Bad Romance’ (prod. by RedOne)
2. ‘Alejandro’ (prod. by RedOne)
3. ‘Monster’ (prod. by RedOne)
4. ‘So Happy I Could Die’ (prod. by RedOne)
5. ‘Speechless’ (prod. by Ron Fair)
6. ‘Dancing In The Dark’ (prod. by Fernando Garibay)
7. ‘Telephone’ (prod. by Rodney Jerkins)
8. ‘Teeth’ (prod. by Teddy Riley)
Okay, I’m not gonne lie, I like ‘Bad Romance’ (esp. without annoying shouts) as the song is similar in tempo to ‘Poker Face’, opening with a series of ah-ah-ahs and ooh-la-las, amid a thrumming beat and swirling keyboard and them other 7 new tracks but there’s one other new GaGa-joint I’m actually a bit more syced about, Trina’s rumoured first official single of her upcoming fifth studio album “Amazin’”, (due for a release 30th of March next year), ‘Let’s Them Hoes Fight’ produced by Jim Jonsin and fesuring Lady GaGa, check the hot snippet below.
GaGa keep herself mad busy for the rest of the year: working on the upcoming video for Beyoncés upcoming single the remix of ‘Video Phone’ (due for release 10th of November), she will star in an upcoming episode of “Gossip Girl” called “Last Days of Disco Stick”, the episode will air the 16th of November and also be featured on Timbaland’s upcoming album “Shock Value 2″ (which will be out 23rd of November) on the track ‘Can U Feel It’.
Let’s stay with “Shock Value 2″ for a while, the first single ‘Morning After Dark’, which features Parisian SoShy, is it or is it not a snoozefest? I can’t decide, it feels like a cut out from the original “Shock Value” more or less. However, other guests than GaGa on “Shock Value 2″ will be: Daughtry, Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, Melody Thornton, T-Pain, Missy Elliott, Lil Wayne, Drake, Brandy, Justin Timberlake, D.O.E., Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Attitude, Shakira, Nickelback, Jet, OneRepublic, The Fray, Kings of Leon and Paramore. Can be good and also a total disaster, I mean Nicelback? Are u kidding me?
If ur wondering why Lady GaGa looks stranger than usual in the pic to this post well, it’s taken from a lovely series of shots she recently did with photographers Markus Klinko & Indrani posing in different Hello Kitty getups.
I hate to say it but wow, Madonna’s days as the undisputed queen of pop are officially over. Lady GaGa now wears the crown, the body and the wig.
